I was born in Toronto, Canada and I currently reside in the Pacific Northwest. My initial love of clay started at the family cottage in Northern Ontario where we enjoyed a natural clay bed. I started working in ceramics over ten years ago. Since then, I have been accumulating the tools of the trade and gathering knowledge from people I have met in my travels. A few years ago, I decided to take some classes where I began making porcelain tiles. The JLG Pottery Grape Leaf design was the very first pressed tile I made, and marked the start of a new journey in ceramics.
